i have unexplained infertility
this is my adventure
It's just better to get straight to the point. I created this website to share a lot of information for you, things like blogs about feeling less stressed, or how to share difficult information, the adventures I capture to inspire, and the experiences I'm having so you know you're not alone. If you want to read about me, you can find that here. But really, the main reason I made this space was to talk about what I can do for you...and in return what you can do for me.
. our story .
I want to be a mother and my husband wants to be a father, but life doesn't seem to be making that possible for us. We started trying in June 2017 and by September 2018, we were both diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Nothing obvious seems to be getting in our way; both Brian and I are "extremely" healthy according to our doctors, but for whatever reason, it just isn't happening.
We were recommended by our Reproductive Endocrinologist to pay for 3 rounds of IUI (intrauterine insemination)...just a fancy way to say the "turkey baster" method, which cost us roughly about $2,100 out of pocket since our insurance doesn't cover any procedures. Thankfully, we saved/budgeted for this expense hopeful that 1 of them would work, however, all 3 rounds failed and we found ourselves up against the financial mountain of IVF. We knew right away that we simply couldn't afford this option on our own at this point in our lives without taking on a large amount of debt with no guarantees of success.
I know that the struggle to conceive isn't common, but also not that uncommon when looking at the big picture of the world. That's why we refuse to do things like start a Go Fund Me page, put it on a credit card, or ask for hand outs from friends and family. Instead, we want to put the work in and use our resources. Between budgeting, applying for infertility grants (yes, apparently they're a thing), and having lengthy conversations with our reproductive endocrinologist, insurance provider, and financial advisors, I made the decision to actually utilize my skills with the hope that it will help us reach our family goals.
. what can i do for you .
People have goals. They want to do things in their life and they want to be happy about it. I can help you do that.
I've helped clients tackle the next adventure in their life through a variety of strategies and resources specific to you and your most current needs. Many of my past clients have made huge changes in areas of health, careers, and relationships through my coaching, so I decided to open business back up to earn the money for our future IVF journey. However, this time there's a twist...
No coaching packages or contracts. This is a Pay-What-You-Can coaching model that consists of 30-minutes in a 1-on-1 session with the full transparency that your contribution will go directly to the out-of-pocket costs ( $5,000 - $10,000) for us to move forward with IVF in the next year.
I may not call myself a photographer, but capturing the most stunning moments of our travels has been a passion of mine since the first summit.
I'm now sharing those moments with you by offering print orders on my favorite captured moments in our national and international parks. My hope is that it inspires you to get out there and see it yourself.
All print order profits go directly into our IVF savings for next year.
